Tandem is a contemporary restaurant in Makati, Philippines, run by husband and wife chefs Alex and Mikee Tan. The cuisine draws from global influences and personal experiences brought together through eclectic, thematic menus that focus on technique, creativity, and a commitment to zero-waste. The restaurant is the heart of their shared lives, where global and sustainable cuisine come together in tandem.
Within months after opening in 2023, Tandem earned recognition from multiple publications as one of Manila’s best restaurants. With the Philippines’ MICHELIN Guide debut in 2025, it was named a MICHELIN Selected restaurant.
Every month, Tandem cycles between a thematic tasting menu for the first three weeks and an à la carte menu for the last week. They also dedicate the last Sunday of every month to a special brunch menu.
